gammakrikit.tk

since there was alot of going back & forth, here's my new URL that will go wherever my current blog is, whether here or somewhere else (hint, hint, hint):  www.gammakrikit.tk
sorry, if there's a pop-up on the way in (you won't notice if your'e using a browser that's worth anything, i.e. firefox) - as soon as I can pay for said URL, it won't have a pop-up...
thank you drive through... (to my 2 whole readers!)

*oh, & on this hypothetical other blog (linked above), there may be a new & improved header as of this morning...

so, I'm sure it wasn't planned, but I have today & today alone to do two assignments to get into this english class... eh, I suppose it shouldn't be a problem...

universal...

so, I went to universal with my mom yesterday - we haven't got to hang out in quite awhile, so it was cool... we had a pretty good time... I didn't kill anybody (although I had ample opportunity, let me tell ya)...towards the end of the day, we ended up watching two music-acts at citywalk:  1st, this really interesting instrumental band with two combination guitar/violin-type instruments - they were called 2 guitar viols (well, I suppose an instrumental group doesn't have to come up with a clever name)...2nd was this girl with a guitar - Chelsea Williams... she was real good & her covers were often better than the originals...

as a side note, my fairly unused blogger journal (the non-art one) is the one in competition with this one... tell me what ya think...

this site...

listening to "Lesser Ones" by Yellow Second

so, I'm kinda annoyed - I just started using xanga again, & am facing limitations that aren't on some services, in the hopes that they'll get us to buy paid accounts...
I learned of this feature - email posting - while looking at the faq's, but nowhere on there does it say it's only for paid accounts... the link just plays dumb & goes to the dash when you click on it.... one of the xanga people's blog seems to elude to it being a paid perk - even if they don't come out & say it...
this feature may seem like a trivial thing, but I'm on computers less & less these days - or atleast unpredictably... not to mention, you can't always get on sites like xanga from work or school computers...
I really don't like the idea of switching - xanga was actually the first online journal site that I liked using - but I'm not becoming a paid member for services that other sites give you free...
no one except me is likely to care anyways... I think like two people I know even use xanga - & anyone who reads my journal on here, won't have much trouble dealing with a new link...
I wanna ask if anyone has any thoughts, but I think alot of people are too lazy to click on a link (myspace people, you know who you are), so I don't think many people are gonna be reading this (I know of like 1 or 2 that actually do)...

oye...

yeah, so I'm kinda tired at the moment - yesterday was an interesting time trying to crash a few classes... jury's not out yet on everything, so we'll see how all that goes...

this "currently listening" thing is bugging me though... it's hooked up to Amazon, so on Xanga, you apparently have to be listening/watching/playing something in the mainstream for it to be declarable.... suckage...

I'm listening to "Gangs Of England" by Carbon/Silicon, & it ain't on Amazon because they don't sell cd's... they release free downloads on their website... - it's what Mick Jones has been doing since Big Audio Dynamite...

really though, I like using Xanga, but I might have to reconsider if some things don't get worked out (I know, I just started using it again too!)...

either way though, I still have my new art site I've been working on...
